FBI MANHUNT FOR FUGITIVE BROTHERS INTENSIFIESRobert D. Grant, Special Agent-in-Charge of the Chicago office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is asking for the public’s help in locating brothers ISMAEL SAUCEDO, JR. and LIONEL SAUCEDO whose last known address was 1111 Wadsworth, in Waukegan. The SAUCEDO brothers have been the subjects of a fugitive investigation coordinated by the FBI since October 2006 when they failed to appear at trial to face drug conspiracy charges. Their 2004 indictment accuses the SAUCEDO brothers of operating a massive drug distribution business that supplied cocaine from the Mexican cartels to street gangs in Lake County, Illinois. The SAUCEDO brothers are accused of operating an automotive decoration and detailing shop in Waukegan that also served as a cocaine distribution center. An FBI search of the SAUCEDO home uncovered cash, cocaine and handguns. Accordingly, the FBI regards the SAUCEDO brothers as armed and dangerous. ISMAEL SAUCEDO, JR., also known as “Junior,” is described as a 29 year old Hispanic male, 5’7” tall, medium build, black hair and brown eyes. LIONEL SAUCEDO, also known as “Sharky,” is described as a 27 year old Hispanic male, 5’9” tall, medium build, black hair, brown eyes. Anyone recognizing the SAUCEDO brothers or having any information about their current whereabouts is asked to call Chicago FBI at (312) 421-6700. The public is reminded that an indictment is not evidence of guilt and that all defendants in a criminal case are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.EDITOR’S NOTE: Additional copies of the attached wanted flyers are available from the Chicago FBI’s press office at (312) 829-1199. |
