May 23, 2007 PUBLIC'S HELP SOUGHT IN SEARCH FOR DEADLY BANK ROBBERSRobert D. Grant, Special Agent in Charge of the Chicago office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Philip J. Cline, Superintendent of the Chicago Police Department (CPD), and Thomas Dart, Cook County Sheriff are seeking the public's assistance in providing information that will lead to the arrest of three bank robbers responsible for the May 22, 2007 robbery of Illinois Service Savings & Loan at 8700 S. King Drive in Chicago. Gunfire during the course of the robbery resulted in the death of a bank teller and the injury of a security guard and customer. Accordingly, the FBI is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the identification and arrest of the bank robbers. Individuals with tips to provide should contact the FBI at 312-421-6700. The FBI is releasing photographs taken from the bank surveillance video for press dissemination.
