REWARD OFFER INCREASED IN SEARCH FOR GANG LEADER

Robert D. Grant, Special Agent-in-Charge of the Chicago Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) announced today that a reward of up to $20,000 is now being offered for information leading to the arrest of DONNELL JEHAN, age 39, whose last known address was 6522 South Ashland Avenue in Chicago. A reward of up to $10,000 was previously offered for information leading to his arrest.

JEHAN has been the subject of a nationwide manhunt, coordinated by the Chicago FBI, since May of 2004 after being charged in a criminal complaint, along with 46 other members and associates of the Black Disciples street gang, with multiple violations of federal drug laws. JEHAN is the lone defendant of this investigation, code named operation "Marvel Less", to remain in a fugitive status.

Two other defendants in this case, LESEAN FORD and FINNIE HAWKINS, also evaded capture in May of 2004, but have recently been apprehended following tips received from the public.

JEHAN is described as a black/male, 39 years of age, 6'3" tall, 250 pounds, black hair, brown eyes, with a slight beard and mustache. JEHAN is known to use the alias of Darnel Clark and also goes by the street name of "Scandalous" and "Scan". JEHAN was last known to be driving a Cadillac Escalade with Illinois license J325569. In addition to his apartment on South Ashland Avenue, JEHAN is known to frequent Chicago's southeast side and the south suburbs in and around South Holland.

JEHAN has been profiled on several national television shows, including "America's Most Wanted"; Fox News Channel's "The Line-up" and locally on "Chicago's Most Wanted".

JEHAN should be considered Armed and Dangerous. He is alleged to be a high ranking member in one of Chicago's largest and most violent street gangs and has an extensive criminal record for crimes of violence. Anyone with information about JEHAN's current whereabouts is asked to call the Chicago FBI at (312) 421-6700.

The public is reminded that a complaint is not evidence of guilt and that all defendants in a criminal case are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

EDITOR's NOTE: Additional copies of the attached wanted flyer and the criminal complaint filed in this case are available from the Chicago FBI Press Office at (312) 829-1199.
