SUSPECTS SOUGHT IN ROBBERIES OF BANK OF AMERICA BANK

Robert D. Grant, Special Agent-in-Charge of the Chicago Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is asking for the public's help in identifying the individuals depicted in the attached photographs, who are believed responsible for two separate robberies on Monday of the Bank of America bank, located at 205 West Monroe Street in Chicago.

The first robbery occurred at approximately 11:30 a.m. According to witnesses, an individual entered the bank, approached the teller and announced a robbery demanding cash from her drawer. After obtaining an as yet undetermined amount of cash, the robber fled the bank on foot, direction not observed. No weapon was displayed and no injuries were reported.

The robber was described as a black/male, 55-60 years of age, 5'5" - 5'6" tall, salt and pepper hair. He was wearing a grey sport coat and dark pants.

The second robbery occurred at approximately 2:45 p.m. The robber entered the bank, handed the teller a note announcing a robbery and verbally demanded money. No weapon was observed or implied and no injuries were reported as a result of this robbery. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the robber fled the bank on foot, last seen running northbound on Wells Street.

The suspect was described as a black/male, 35-40 years of age, 5'8" - 5'10" tall, 150-170 pounds, brown eyes, light mustache, wearing a red baseball cap, a red loose shirt and blue jeans.

These robberies are being investigated by the Chicago FBI's Violent Crimes Task Force (VCTF), which is comprised of FBI Special Agents, Detectives from the Chicago Police Department (CPD) and Investigators from the Cook County Sheriff's Police (CCSP).
