SUSPECTED BANK ROBBER SOUGHT

Robert D. Grant, Special Agent-in-Charge of the Chicago Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is asking for the public's help in identifying the individual depicted in the attached photographs, who is suspected of the February 17th robbery of the Chase Bank branch, located at 1851 North Cicero in Chicago.

According to witnesses, the robber entered the bank and approached a teller, handing her a note announcing a robbery and demanding money. He then fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. Although he implied that he was armed, no weapon was displayed and no injuries were reported.

The robber is described as a black/male, 35 - 45 years of age, 5' 9" tall, medium build with a beard and goatee.

Anyone recognizing this individual or having information about this robbery is asked to call the Chicago FBI's Violent Crimes Task Force (VCTF) at (312) 431-1333.

The Chicago FBI's Violent Crimes Task Force is comprised of FBI Special Agents, Detectives from the Chicago Police Department and Investigators from the Cook County Sheriff's Police Department.
